Star Fish went fishing yesterday and today, 5/2-3/08.  There were blues from about 5 lbs with good fight to gorillas (my mates' name for them) at about 12 lbs. There were lots of other species present also. I think we broke off as many as we caught. We are now fishing regularly. Here's to a great season. There are stripers (mostly shorts), a few black drum, and big blues around, as well as an occasional cod and black bass. Star Fish was just, once again, safety inspected by the Coast Guard. Once again she got a perfect score - no deficiencies. We can take charters of one person up to 20 people.
