We had about 25 fish on Saturday. Many of the stripers were a little short but we had some BIG fish too! The largest filled the length of our 128 quart cooler. The fish were fat and very sassy.

Most of the fish were caught trolling, and we had a number of double hookups, and one triple. The weather was nice, the sun warm, and the seas calm. Mixed in with the bass were some large migrating blues. Also one hookup on a spreader netted both a blue and bass on the same rig. They must have been feeding together. We had about a half dozen of them too.

The fish were under the birds in water between 30 and 45 feet.
