Capt Fran and The Drop Off ran to the reef with Sam Kipp and Son (Austin) for a B-day Trip.  Austin’s Uncle Chuck was also on the trip.  The wind blew NE for the Morning and the went to SE by lunch time.  The water was cold and the fishing was slow until the afternoon.  The group ended up with a nice caught of 2 keeper fluke and 4 Sea Bass and one Bluefish.

7/1/06

Cousins was on the water for a shark trip to the 28 mile wreck with Nick Rausch on an owner’s trip.  The wind blew and blew NE 10 to 15 knots the sea were 4 to 6 footers. It was not a nice day.  Sharking was slow several small sharks came to the boat but nothing of the keeper size.  One 12 pound bluefish was taken.  The ride home was slow with the NE winds.  This is the last week that Cousins will be shark fishing warmer water is moving in and tuna runs will start next week. Limited date are open for July and we are now taking bookings for Aug.
