The Organizational Meeting for the 2007 BHCFA Junior Mate Training Program will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2006.  A parent of guardian must come with you to sign the Release Form.

The Organizational/Registration Meeting will be held at the Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club (LEHYC), Berkeley Avenue at the Bay, Beach Haven, NJ.  We will use the Molly Allison Junior Sailing Building just south of the main clubhouse.

All teenagers from 13 to 17 are welcome to sign up.  You don;t need to know a lot about fishing.  We'll teach you.  You just have to have a HUGE interest in fishing and boating.

We have lots of new things to learn this year.  A class that will earn a Two Year CPR Certification will be supplied to all Junior Mates by Southern Ocean County Hospital personnel.  A class on how to predict the weather just by observing conditions around you will be taught by highly qualified NOAA Weaterman, Jim Eberwine.

Sign up and bring your friends.  Junior Mates are assigned to Member BHCFA Charter Boats at Registration Night for hands on training in addition to the Thursday evening classes at LEHYC.
