We fished Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for slammer blues. Each day we had unlimited fish. On two of the days, the party was too tired to reel in another fish. The blues were from about 8 lbs to about 14 lbs. The largest almost filled the length of a 128 quart Iglo cooler.

The fish were in large schools, feeding on mackerel and pilchards. We found 90% of a whole mackerel in the belly of one we cleaned.

When we left the main school, they were off Beach Haven, headed north.
