Offshore fishing on Sunday, August 27, 2006 Report posted by Capt. Lindsay Fuller of the June Bug on 9/05/06
We had a make up charter on Sunday, August 27 and went to the Knuckle. Sea conditions were not the greatest but we started the day with a 100-pound tuna. A 30-pounder followed that. An hour of so later, a 120-pounder thumped on the deck. All in all, a pretty good day. We had a little mechanical issue when the fitting connecting the throttle cable to the throttle lever on the engine broke. We were stuck at idle speed for the rest of the day including the trip home.
