Inshore fishing on Friday, August 25, 2006 Report posted by Capt. Lindsay Fuller of the June Bug on 9/05/06
June Bug took Ray Bromley of Mechanicsburg, PA and his party fishing inshore on Friday, August 25. It was nice to see Ray. I had not seen him in some years. We went back to the same spot that we fished the day before but the drift was not as good. We did get 7 keepers again with many throwbacks and many spiny skates. We had a low level flyover by a pair of A-10 attack jets. They stood on their wings and weaved in between the little fleet of boats. We guessed they were coming form the air show in Atlantic City. We were able to tell why these little planes are so scary. They screech when they fly. We tried for some Bluefish in the afternoon but were only able to find little ones south of the Inlet. Capt.
