7/29 Fishing Report - Outstanding Report posted by Carl Sheppard of the STAR FISH on 7/29/06
On the 28 and 29th we went out weakfishing. On the 28 we had only three fisherpersons, and on the 29th we had 7 (Star Fish is licensed to carry up to 20 - but we will only fish 12). The fish were hungery, and we caught over 40 weakfish (spotted sea trout) each day. The fish were up to 5 lbs and gave good play. Each day we ended up doing catch-and-release.
